The Ultimate Reality of my ESFJ Personality

esfj personality
Let's talk about personality tests. Every day, I find out what Happy Potter character/type of cheese/etc that my friends are from Facebook, but is that really telling me about their personalities? Probably not.

Recently, while on a very long road trip, one of my friends told me about the 16 Personalities test and I figured it would be a good way to pass the time. The test take about 12 minutes but I have never read a personality description more accurate in my entire life.

You probably think your personality type doesn't matter. You'll probably never introduce yourself as your name and your Myers-Briggs acronym. But knowing your personality is important as it will help you understand yourself.

ClassPass: An Honest Review

I heard somewhere that the average number of days that people hold a New Year's resolution is 12 days. That means that by January 12th, most people have given up on their goals to eat better, get fit, or be a nicer person. Honestly, this shocked me.

One of my New Year's resolutions was to be active every day. I started off with the Blogilate's Beginner's Challenge but about 12 days in, I started to get bored. I needed more oomph. I was craving the feeling of pushing my body to the limit and pilates wasn't giving that to me.

I had heard about ClassPass and they just happened to be running an awesome deal for three months, so I figured why not?

Blogger Question & Answer

A while ago, I was challenged to do a "Blogger Q&A" by Jenn from BudgetGirLife.

I know I've been in and out of the blogging game, but this post challenged me to think about why I do what I do, and I'd love to share with you.

2016: A Reflection

I've seriously seen so many people talking about how 2016 was the worst year in history. Apparently it was so bad that people made a horror movie trailer of all the things that happened. (If you haven't seen it, here is the link.) I can't say that the past year was the worst or the best, but it definitely defined how I am going into 2017.

I know it's already five days into January, but I have been reflecting a lot on 2016 for the past week, and I wanted to blog about it so that I can have a clean slate going into this year.

Over the past year...

New Year, New Me (and a New Watch)

2017 is here, believe it or not. I recently posted a vlog about what my New Year's resolutions are (you can watch it here) but there were a few things that I didn't mention in my video because they are a little more personal and how to word them takes a lot of thought.

One of the big things I want to focus on this year is unplugging. I unplugged for one weekend in December while on a mission trip and it was the most freeing experience. I was doing good for myself and for the people I was with.

How can you unplug if you are a lifestyle blogger? I've thought about this a lot. I want to create an online schedule for myself and dedicate time to not being on the computer or my phone or my smart watch.
